Program Infomation
"The curriculum and the term of this program is flexible to meet all kinds of needs. The basic Chinese courses, HSK counseling and Chinese culture lessons are provided. The basic courses for this program include intensive reading, speaking, listening, reading, writing, HSK counseling and Chinese Culture. Besides, there are a variety of elective courses such as Chinese culture, Chinese history, folk dance, calligraphy, painting, the art of tea ceremony, Chinese martial arts (kung fu), Tai Chi. What’s more, during weekends the students will be organized to have trips to some beautiful sights such as Xuchang Spring House, Shaolin Temple, Mt. Song etc.Xuchang University offers foreign students a great opportunity not only to study Chinese language from the best native speaking teachers, but also experience an unique cultural atmosphere of modern China and feel the great spirit of one of the oldest cultures in the world.
At the end of the course all the students take a HSK testing. They're provided with an official HSK certificate of the rank corresponding to the level of their language proficiency."
